LNF CLEARS CORRUPT EMPLOYEES
NGO finds importance of eradicating corrupt officials
Centurion, Gauteng: During the January monthly feedback cluster meetings, it had been reported and thoroughly investigated that, that employees stationed at the LNF learning stations had undertaken illegal actions by charging members of the community a fee for utilizing our services.
“With these uncertain times, the cause to solicit funds from the very community we struck hard to assist defies and defeats the sole purpose of the organization, whereas throughout the lockdown period, it is with grave sadness and disbelief that it is individuals who lost their livelihoods that have become subjected to the solicited kickbacks” said Koketso Lediga, the organization’s founding communications officer, further stating that “upon further investigation, it had been discovered that these employees enlisted the help of our South African Police Force to drive fear into our community members, further forcing them to partake forcefully within these underhanded dealings”. As a result, LNF has taken initiative to clear out and proceed with legal proceedings and bring forth implicated individuals to book under the full might of the law.
Alongside legal action being taken, each accused and guilty staff member will be expected to return all monetary collections taken from the community under false pretense of the organization’s behalf whilst using their positions to manipulate the community at large instead of being the community’s pillar of support.
LNF has further taken the initiative to rebrand itself, and has reached a decision to reinvent itself as an organization to its community members and stakeholders by also enlisting the services of new personnel and staff members who share a common goal and interest to succeed aligned with the organization’s vision and mission statement which is expected to roll out on the 1st September, 2025 at midnight (00:00) on the same day.
